Nothing compares to Krinkels and Hodges
Simply outstanding. I've been anticipating this for a long time and you've completely blown me away again.
You, Krinkels, single-handedly have the most imaginative mind I've ever witnessed. Your art is constantly improving and you hold nothing back in these Madness animations. The smoothness of the animation in this episode was outstanding. I was questioning how you were going to animate the Icon of Sin with the liquid flames, but you pulled it off really well.
The animation is littered with sadistic and ritualistic artworks. Bodies pinned to the wall, subliminal messaging. People with bolts embedded in their heads. The giant crossface man was a nice addition as well.
Moving onto the sound design. I believe Sean Hodges has outdone himself again with the music in this episode. He's moved beyond the simple drum'n'bass style that we've heard in past episodes. The music is reminiscent to Madness antipathy but has evolved to become very enjoyable background music. I hope Hodges continues to release his work to the public and spreads his talent.
Well done, I look forward to Madness 8 (I'm assuming there will be an 8 to explain who the silhouette man is.) I can only hope that you continue to pour your frustrations and anger into this artwork, because the result is nothing short of amazing.
